The Institute for Rural Emergency Management (IREM) offers a B.S. in Crisis and Disaster Management online and on-campus. Courses in emergency management have been offered at UCM for more than 20 years, and the degree has been available since April 2001. The program offers degree option areas and standalone undergraduate certificates in four areas:

• B.S. Crisis and Disaster Management (120 hours, 36 hour major)
