Boeing Co. officials showed off their new 777 freighter plane in ceremonies in Everett, where the plane is built. The first 777, which has a list price of around $250 million, is expected to be delivered to Air France in the fourth quarter. In June, the plane will begin the flight test and certification program.
Let's say they discount the plane and it only costs $200M, still...zow that is a lot of money! It shows us emergency managers what is at risk when critical infrastructure fails, or there are big losses to commercial enterprises.
It also makes $600 hammers for the USAF seem much more reasonable!
