It is unfortunate, but there are nefarious individuals and companies who prey on people after a disaster. There are those that actually go around the nation following in the wake of disasters to create even more pain and suffering for people that fall prey to their alleged expertise at disaster repairs, insurance paperwork, dealing with the Feds, etc.
