I'm finally back up and running on having a web page with job opportunities in emergency management and homeland security. You can find a listing at Jobs Eric Has Heard About.
Since I'm not out there looking for jobs day in and day out, I get these listings from YOU. If you have a job that is being advertized, send it my way and I'll get it posted up and help with your recruitment.
While there isn't a plethora of jobs out there these days, I expect that things are going to loosen up in the next 12 months. One of the unique issues we face is that with grant money, you might have funds for an FTE, but the "powers that be" don't want you hiring when other people are being let go. This is "stinkin thinkin" on their part, but reality in some cases.
If you missed it, my last Eric's Corner Column was on Emergency Management Jobs.
