See update on the Association below:

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Membership

NHMA is now up to 31 founding members. Please continue to tell your colleuges about the organization so that we can continue to grow. You'll be receiving 2009 membership information by early December.

Coordination with ASFPM

[There will be] a dinner meeting with ASFPM leadership on November 17th, in New Orleans. It currently seems that around 5 members will be in attendance and we are looking forward to building a relationship with ASFPM.

Coordination with IAEM

Jane Rovins will be meeting with the Executive Director and Policy Advisor for IAEM at the annual conference which is coming up. Please let us know if you will be attending that conference. Unfortunately, I will not be there this year.

Coordination with Other Organizations

Please let me know if you are a member of a professional group which you feel we should be coordinating with at this time.

Initial Board Meeting

The Board Meeting on November 10, 2008 will take place at 10:00am CDT in Tulsa. It will be followed by a brainstorming/visioning session. Please let me know if you would like to call into either meeting and I will provide you with the information. I'll be sending out an agenda in the near future.

Thanks to all of you for the time and effort that you are putting into the growth and development of NHMA.
