I enjoy reading Government Technology in order to stay in touch where we might be headed in the not too distant future.  One recent article U.S. Roads and Bridges Are Getting Smarter highlights several areas for our road transportation systems.

 

As these advances are being made--how will emergency management adapt to using these technologies for when emergencies and disasters occur?
