WSEMA has opened up its conference registration site for the September 16-18, 2008 Conference at Ocean Shores. The theme of the event will be "Making Our Communities More Resilient." Which I submitted as a suggestion (I'm still waiting for my $100.00 check, or could it be a T-shirt?). I did submit a topic for the conference, "Formula for Regional Resilience" but have not heard back yet on if it was accepted or not.

I encourage you to check it out. The full agenda is not published yet, but I see they have Craig Fugate coming in from the State of Florida to speak at the conference.
