Pierce County (that's where I live) has a job opening for an Emergency Management Coordinator 1.

The Department of Emergency Management is the largest emergency management agency in Washington State. This looks to be an entry level position (although there is an experience requirement). It is the perfect example where you need to show up with education and real life work experience. They have a history of hiring some younger staffers--so if you are up to it, give it a shot!

The job closes on January 10th, so don't procrastinate in applying!
