U.S. News and World Reports identified Emergency Management Specialist as one of the top 50 careers for 2011. There is supposed to be double digit growth in the number of positions that will be required in the coming years.
Their reporting on the job field is pretty much right on target. The spread of responsibilities and pay is what I'd expect. For a "Popular" article on the topic it is on the mark.
