Job: Emergency Management Specialist

Jobs come in all shapes and sizes.  This one with the University of Boulder looks very appealing to me.  It is an Emergency Management Specialist position in what I think is a very young emergency management department.

Lacey Croco is the new Director there arriving in 2010.  She has now worked with the Red Cross, at the city, county (King County Washington) and federal levels (FEMA) and brings a youthful enthusiasm to our profession.

What I like about new positions and departments is that the slate is totally clean and you can start and build a program how you would like to do it. There should be some intense competition for this position!
