California farmers and law enforcement attended a seminar on how to prevent agricultural terrorism on the state’s food supply on Jan. 26. Instructors from the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training presented a seminar on the effects an act of terrorism would have on the state’s food supply. Officials stressed the importance of communicating the risk of agro-terrorism and the role seminars play in preventing such acts, the Porterville Recorder reported.
