The Baltimore Police Department and John Hopkins Hospital are planning to begin sharing footage from surveillance cameras. Under the deal, video from 136 cameras around the hospital’s East Baltimore campus would stream into the city’s surveillance center, while hospital security staff would have access to six city-operated cameras near the campus. The agreement will help police investigate crime near the hospital and assist hospital security in keeping the facility safe, reported The Baltimore Sun.
