Homeland security degree programs are becoming more available in univerisities and schools across the United States. You can now find accredited programs for emergency management degrees and emergency management certificate programs as well, including undergraduate and graduate degree options.

An education in homeland security develops the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for leadership in homeland security including international and domestic terrorism, infrastructure protection, strategic planning for security, international relations, intelligence operations and evaluation and program management.
